Research papers are due on Thursday, October 13, 2005. Papers should be typed (double spaced, 12-14 font size and include at least a paragraph on each section above. Please include a title page with a picture for the beginning and a bibliography at the end of the paper listing the sources used. Students will give a brief oral presentation highlighting the things they have learned about the state. Students are also preparing a travel poster for our State Fair on Friday, October 14, 2005. Optional: Students may include maps, replica (something 3-dimensional) Power Point, and items that represent the state if they would like.
State Research Paper Bibliography
A bibliography shows where you got the information for your paper. It is a list of articles, books, websites, encyclopedias, or other sources. Bibliographies should be organized alphabetically by the author's last name or, when there is no author named, by the name of the publication. Then list the title, followed by the name of the publisher. The place and date of publication are listed at the end.
